Catapulting a fintech design studio to grow revenue by 120% in 12-months.
The Bang are a UI, UX and branding studio that enables fintech startups to design digital products. They’ve helped build some of the most innovative and disruptive startups in the UK’s current finance industry. These including exciting startups like Tembo, Honcho and Mojo Mortgages.
The Bang spotted an opportunity to leave their full time jobs and set up a remote-first design studio. Initially approached by startups in their network, the two founders reached out to ask for help finding new business. They wanted to understand how they could begin to create both inbound and outbound leads to help them sustainably grow revenue.
I showed the studio that the first job was to niche their proposition. This is because a well defined target industry and buyer is much easier to land new business with. Avoiding the typical agency identity crisis, their value was clear from the offset to their ideal customer profiles. We then underpinned this with an effective marketing and sales process.
The Bang have quickly cornered a niche section of the Fintech market. They are now effectively generating and closing business from outbound prospecting. Also, their marketing efforts have began to take effect, attracting inbound leads from as far out as the UAE. The business has been able to grow revenue of the last 12-months by 120%.
